Dr. Robin Ockey specializes in pain medicine. His expertise includes electromyography, nerve conduction studies, injections, management of painful conditions, and rehabilitation. Dr. Ockey is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. He is also board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and by the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Ockey earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Ockey joined Utah Valley Pain Management in October 2007. Before joining Utah Valley Pain Management, Dr. Ockey worked at Nexus Pain Care in Provo, Utah. Prior to that, he was medical director of rehabilitation services and medical director of pain medicine at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Dr. Ockey also served as a physician in the U.S. Air Force at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. His professional associations include the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
